About Casa Lita
In 2003, we embarked with great enthusiasm on a gastronomic adventure. Our desire was to develop and consolidate Spanish cuisine in Santander in its most traditional and popular form: El pincho.
Reflecting the high quality of our pinchos, Casa Lita has received numerous awards, as well as various mentions in the press and appearances on television, both national and international.
Our chef, Joseba Guijarro, who in his long professional career has achieved a prestigious Michelin Star, is the one who is in charge of buying the freshest and best quality products from the market on a daily basis to prepare the skewers that can be enjoyed daily at Casa Lita.
All our pinchos come to the bar freshly made, as they are made freshly, so that our customers can enjoy the best Spanish gastronomy through authentic pincho cuisine.
Behind the stove of this house is one of the most outstanding Cantabrian Chefs in the region: Joseba Guijarro. He was responsible for making the restaurant 'San Román de Escalante' known many years ago as a gastronomic temple when it held the coveted Michelin Star. And of course he is a restless man, deeply knowledgeable in all types of culinary techniques, which he does not hesitate to put into practice with the sole purpose of making us feel through food.
Joseba is also the author, among others, of the Everest publishing book 'Bocadillos, Sandwich y Tostas' which gives us a slight idea of how knowledgeable he is in this matter. Likewise, Joseba represents Cantabria in many of the tourism and food fairs in which our community is present. And last year he participated as a speaker at one of the largest gastronomic conferences in the world, 'The Best of Gastronomy', which is organized every year in San Sebastián.
The Casa Lita Pinchos Bar is located in a unique building dating from the 19th century, located in one of the most beautiful enclaves of Santander, Puertochico, where the most varied and quality hospitality offering in the city is located. Due to its particular location, from Casa Lita you can enjoy a spectacular view of the beautiful bay of Santander in its fullness, with the marina in the foreground, while tasting the authentic pincho cuisine.
Casa Lita has approximately three hundred different skewers, between hot and cold, prepared daily and with the best quality raw materials.
We also have a selection of cheeses, Iberian sausages, asparagus, northern tuna and artisan anchovies from Santoña that are a delight for the palate.
