About Restaurante El Serbal

El Serbal opened its doors in the central neighborhood of Puertochico, in Santander, in 1999. Just six months later and after a great reception, the restaurant embarked on a first renovation based on the improvement of its facilities, the expansion of the dining room and the inauguration of a winery made up of more than 500 references and accessible to any customer.

El Serbal's cuisine uses the great products of Cantabria to develop creative dishes that do not forget, however, the traditional flavors. Among its most emblematic bites is the steak tartare and the flambé, without detracting from the small details that put the cherry on top of any meal: artisan breads, its selection of international cheeses or its carts of coffees and infusions and liquors and mixed drinks.

Modern decoration, in warm colors, wide separation between the tables, careful and attentive service... The combination of the cuisine and the atmosphere of El Serbal have contributed to its Michelin star, which has been displayed on the façade of the Santander restaurant since 2003.

Our greatest value is the people, the human team that gives shape to the dream of El Serbal. Since 1999 we have grown with the talent and passion of many of them and they have all left an impact in our kitchen or living room. This is part of our staff, who every day puts their creativity and effort into offering a unique experience during your visit to the restaurant.
